1,004 bikes for kids this Christmas!

Mojo and WZYP had a fantastic turnout this past weekend for Bikes or Bust!

Last year, Mojo sat out for five days in the elements and solicited donations that resulted in more than 850 bikes for children in foster care. This year, he smashed it and brought in 1,004 bikes!

We are eternally grateful to Mojo and the WZYP team for pulling this massive effort off for our kids.

We also want to thank Two Men and a Truck for providing teams to move all the bicycles from the collection site, the Alabama Army National Guard for assembling ALL of those bicycles, and Mayfair Church of Christ and Huntsville – Madison County Rowing and Watersports for helping unload the bikes into storage. We couldn’t have done it without all of them!

And lastly we want to thank everyone who donated! Because of you, every child who asked for a bicycle this Christmas will have one under the tree!
