Bikes or Bust is underway!

Our good friend Mojo has made his 40-foot climb to the Kids to Love Skybox high over South Memorial Parkway for his 22nd Annual Bikes or Bust campaign!

Mojo is going to stay up there in the elements until Monday night, with the goal of getting a new bicycle for every child in foster care in our area for Christmas.

We need your help! If you can, bring a new bicycle for a child in foster care to the Ashley HomeStore parking lot at 3020 Memorial Parkway SW. You can bring it by anytime now through Monday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. You can bring a bike of any size … the little kids love to ride, but our bigger kids and teenagers also need bicycles, so don’t forget them!

And if you can’t bring a new bicycle, you can still stop by and make a donation that will go toward the purchase of a bicycle for a child this Christmas. No amount is too small!

So come on out, meet the WZYP and Kids to Love teams, enjoy the rock climbing wall that the Alabama National Guard has on site (and THANK YOU to them for assembling all these bikes!), and enjoy the weekend.
