Huntsville Havoc’s Star Wars Night Raises $29,819 for Kids to Love!

Hockey fans showed the true power of the Force on Star Wars Night as the Huntsville Havoc—together with presenting sponsor CB&S Bank—raised an incredible $29,819 for the Kids to Love Foundation. The annual themed game brought big crowds, big energy, and big generosity, all benefiting children in foster care during the season when support matters most.

Most of the fundraising total came from two exciting auctions: the Havoc’s special edition Star Wars–themed game jerseys and a collection of mini helmets hand-painted by team members. Fans bid enthusiastically throughout the night, driving home just how much this community cares about making Christmas brighter for local children.

In addition to the auction totals, fans also donated a large number of new hoodies at the door, helping stock Kids to Love’s shelves with warm clothing for the winter months—a longtime need for the children we serve.

Kids to Love is especially grateful to the Huntsville Havoc and CB&S Bank for their commitment and partnership. Their support couldn’t come at a better time. As Christmas approaches, Kids to Love works to provide gifts, essentials, and meaningful memories for thousands of children in foster care. Having the Havoc and CB&S Bank in our corner makes a tremendous difference.

“Star Wars Night has become one of our favorite events of the year,” said Kids to Love Founder & CEO Lee Marshall. “The energy in that arena is amazing, but the heart behind the fans, the team, and CB&S Bank is what truly stands out. Their generosity helps us reach kids who need us most.”

From thrilling gameplay to incredible acts of kindness, this year’s Star Wars Night was a victory on and off the ice. Kids to Love extends heartfelt thanks to the Havoc, CB&S Bank, and every fan who donated, bid, or brought a hoodie. Because of you, more children in foster care will feel seen, supported, and celebrated this Christmas.
