Over the Edge Raises $104,825 for Children in Foster Care
09/22/2026

What a weekend!
Over the Edge took over downtown Huntsville September 18–19, and when it was all said and done, our rappellers and supporters had raised $104,825 for Kids to Love and children in foster care!
Dozens of Edgers took on the challenge of rappelling 160 feet down the Regions building, while friends, family members, coworkers and supporters gathered downtown to cheer them on. Saturday’s Street Party added even more to the fun, with food, activities, football and plenty of people stopping by to watch the action. It was a hot weekend, so we’re thankful to everyone who braved the heat and came out.
Most importantly, the money raised through Over the Edge helps Kids to Love provide the resources and support children in foster care need. That includes programs like More Than a Backpack, KTECH and trauma therapy at the Smith Family Wellness Center. And it’s important to know that if you didn’t support an Edger, there is still time to donate to their fundraising effort!

An event like this takes a lot of people coming together, and we’re incredibly thankful to the businesses and organizations that helped make Over the Edge possible. A special thank-you goes to our Presenting Sponsor, Twickenham Advisors, and our Rope Sponsor, TVA, for their support.
We’re also grateful to every sponsor, business, volunteer, Edger, donor and supporter who helped make this event happen. Whether you went over the edge, supported someone who did, volunteered your time or simply came downtown to cheer everyone on, you helped make a difference for children in foster care.
And to everyone who helped us reach $104,825, thank you for going Over the Edge with us. 💜
ALSO, if you didn’t go this year and you feel like you missed out, get ready for next year!
