We have a new playhouse in our Child Placing Agency!

Work at the Kids to Love Center this week looked a lot like play for this lively group from Girls, Inc. Young ladies participating in Girls Inc.’s Eureka! Program have been learning about careers in the construction industry this month thanks to a partnership with the North Alabama Homebuilding Academy (NAHA). Today, they put what they’ve learned into practice at the Kids to Love Center.
The girls’ showpiece project for NAHA camp was to build an indoor playhouse for Kids to Love, which is a wonderful addition to our Child Placing Agency! It will be a bright spot for children when our case managers and therapists work with families.
Teams from Kids to Love, Girls Inc. and NAHA gathered Thursday morning to celebrate not only the project but the good that can come when organizations work together in community.
