We have a scholarship recipient doing great things!

We’re so fortunate to be able to help children in foster care in furthering their education, and we love sharing success stories of some of our kids!

One of those is our Kids to Love Scholar Elizabeth Standifer. Elizabeth is in her second semester at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, and she’s putting in the work. Elizabeth finished in the top 33 percent of her class during her first semester!

Elizabeth plans to practice law in areas that make an impact for the greater good. Since she experienced firsthand the important role a guardian ad litem can have on the lives of kids in the system, she hopes one day to be a voice for kids in the foster care system, to help advocate and navigate the court system. She would have given anything to have that when she was their age.

We’re so proud of Elizabeth and all of our other scholarship recipients who are working hard to better themselves!
