We have two new awards for our service!

Kids to Love had a big night Thursday at the annual Trideum Foundation Grounds for Hope awards!

The Grounds for Hope dinner and awards event seeks to recognize and honor those in our community who give of themselves in service to others.

Our Davidson Farms house mother, Shiloh Lyles, was given the Unsung Hero award, and we don’t think there’s anyone more deserving than her! Shiloh spends her days with the girls at the Farm, taking them to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments. She also cooks, cleans, and does everything else a mom does for our girls. It’s a tough job sometimes, but we can’t think of anyone better suited for it than her!

That wasn’t the only award Kids to Love came home with, though. Lee was surprised with the Van A. Sullivan Visionary Leadership Award! Under her leadership, our team is growing and expanding the way we serve children in foster care every day.

We are elated that two of our own have been recognized by Trideum Foundation for the way they serve our community, and we can’t wait to show them and everyone else how our service will grow over the next year!
