We’re getting a playhouse!

It’s not every day that someone comes along and offers you a free playhouse!

The North Alabama Homebuilding Academy is holding its 4th annual camp with Girls Incorporated of Huntsville, and their project is building an indoor playhouse for us! The playhouse will be located in our Child Placing Agency.

We have made our Child Placing Agency a welcoming space for children and families when they come in, and this will be a perfect addition to the atmosphere we’ve created there. It’s also awesome that at the same time, these girls are learning about construction skills and techniques, as well as career opportunities.

“We are so excited that Girls Inc. and the North Alabama Homebuilding Academy chose Kids to Love as their playhouse project recipient!” Lee said. “When our team of case managers and therapists welcome children and families into our space, we want them to feel safe and loved. But we also want kids to be kids. This new playhouse will be such a fun addition to our Kids to Love Campus.”

The playhouse is scheduled to be installed at the end of the month. Stay tuned for pictures!
