Where adoption begins and families are made
03/01/2026

Adoption has always been the core of Kids to Love. From the moment I introduced the first child I met who wanted to be adopted back in 1999, I knew that finding families would be the most important piece of Kids to Love.
Our team has celebrated several adoptions. Two stand out in my mind, including Karson who officially joined his adoptive family in January after living in foster care for almost 3 years.
Then, there is Darlene’s story. She took legal custody of her grandson and pursued several avenues to adopt him but found the process for grandparents to be complicated and expensive. Our team stepped in to help, and her adoption was made final in Madison County last summer.
“I’m just so happy,” Darlene says. “It needs to be like what Lee does. She is successful in finding kids loving homes.”
Kids to Love is committed to doing adoption better. Every adoption is its own unique journey. Some may start with the care of a grandparent; others begin in a foster home. We would love to connect with you, whatever your fostering or adoption dreams are. The first step may be to join our foster parent training classes. You can find out more about them here.
