Become A Foster Family

We will guide you through the process of getting trained and certified to welcome a foster child into your home.

TIPS is a ten-week class that potential adoptive/foster families complete. During the class, participants learn what to expect by opening their hearts and homes to children in the foster care system. How to act and react to their needs. The class also prepares potential parents through background checks and home studies.

If you’re curious what the journey to fostering children is like, read this foster mom’s story. Lindsey also has great advice for people who are thinking of fostering children.

What is foster care like for the children you might welcome into your home? Brooklyn, one of our former foster children who’s now a mom herself, has some things she’d like you to know.

Finding a forever family for children in foster care is a job that involves a lot of time and patience, but the journey for a family is worth it.

If you’re interested in TIPS training, or you’re already a licensed foster family and want more information about working with Kids to Love, fill out the form below.
