Child Placing Agency – Social Worker

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: Negotiable based on education, experience, and licensure

Kids to Love Foundation is seeking a candidate to serve as our foster home licensing social worker. This position is responsible for initial licensing and maintenance of foster family homes. The licensing social worker is responsible for ensuring that Minimum Standards for Child Placing Agencies and Minimum Standards for Foster Family Homes are maintained.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Trauma-Informed for Permanency and Safety (TIPS) training.
  • Prepare written home studies for families.
  • Ensure that all licensed foster homes meet requirements outlined in the minimum standards.
  • Communicate and support foster parents with a focus on building parent knowledge and skills to support the children in their home environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree preferred in Social Work
  • Must have a current social work license.
  • At least 3 years work experience in child welfare.
  • TIPS and Deciding Together leader training a plus

Child Placing Agency – Social Worker

Job Type: Part Time

Salary: Negotiable based on education, experience, and licensure

Kids to Love Foundation is seeking a candidate to serve as our foster care social worker. This position is responsible for working with children who are in foster care. The social worker is responsible for ensuring that Minimum Standards for Child Placing Agencies concerning the children’s level of care and records are maintained.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare treatment plans for children in foster care.
  • Ensure that all children receive services needed based on the needs identified in their treatment plan.
  • Prepare written monthly progress notes.
  • Conduct monthly home visits to assess the children’s placement.
  • Communicate and support foster parents with a focus on building parent knowledge and skills to support the children in their home environment.
  • Advocate for children during ISP’s, IEP’s, and court hearings. Provides transportation to and from these appointments.
  • Supports birth parents and children while supervising visits.
  • Lead Trauma-Informed for Permanency and Safety (TIPS) training.

Qualifications:
