Denim & Diamonds will be here before you know it!

You may have heard about Denim and Diamonds, the signature fundraising event that we host each spring. What you might not know is why this night is so important. Yes, it raises money for our organization but more than that, it gives life to our girls who live at Davidson Farms.

One of the things we invite our guests to give is money for extracurricular activities. Last year, one of our girls got to travel to a National Fine Arts festival in Orlando, Florida. She competed in the sign language and spoken word group, working closely with her team to build trust and support. Foster youth often feel isolated and alone, so being part of a team creates a powerful sense of belonging. The chance to compete and achieve is transformational. At this Fine Arts event, students were cheered for, not just judged. Our girl can’t wait to go again!

These are the kinds of stories you will hear at Denim and Diamonds on April 25th. You’ll also enjoy good music by Mark Wills and a satisfying meal.
